BRINGING WANTSUIT TO LIFE
Meet Tekye Pettie Chong
Tekye Pettie Chong, the founder and the inventor of Wantsuit, was inspired to create the perfect bodysuit after struggling to find one that kept up with her busy lifestyle.

Even though she spent thousands of dollars in the pursuit of the perfect bodysuit, it was impossible to find the perfect one. Based on her personal experiences, she began conducting research via focus groups and questionnaires, and even informal bar conversations. Tekye wanted to find out if other women were experiencing the same struggles and learn what would make the perfect bodysuit for them.
Armed with a plan for what she knew would make a great bodysuit, she began her quest to find suppliers and production companies to create what she had in mind. After developing and trying dozens of prototypes, she created the perfect bodysuit—the Wantsuit.
In fall of 2020, Wantsuit launched on Kickstarter and successfully funded the campaign goal—over 140%! After shipping our innovative bodysuits to our first supporters, Wantsuit is now available for immediate purchase.
